Culture and Sensitivity (C&S) labels are terms commonly used in clinical microbiology and are part of the diagnostic process to identify and treat bacterial infections.

When a patient with symptoms of a bacterial infection (e.g., a urinary tract infection, respiratory infection, or wound infection), a sample such as urine, blood, or a swab from the infected site is collected. This sample is then sent to a laboratory for culture.
